Gold shine

I really wanted to show off this chain where it would be noticed but I wasn't sure how. So, I thought to mix it with some brown and a pair of high waisted shorts - Sorry I didn't get the full shot in. 

Anyway, I have been thinking a lot recently about going on a shopping spree and constantly "keeping up with the Jones" so to speak. To me, that is what I thought fashion is about - having the latest of everything just to 'look good'. But, I have realised, that is not the case. Fashion can be as personal as a diary.

I mean look around, 1950s fashion is back with the huge glasses, which has become even more popular by grime rapper Tinie Tempah. The modernised tea dresses, shown through ASOS's model below, and 1980s retro style prints have all trickled back into the 2011's fashion along the with doctor martins boots.  

But that's just fashion in the UK and many parts of Europe. So fashion goes around in circles and so I don't really have anything to worry about as all the things that I buy now or have bought will always be in fashion. Took me a while to discover, but I got there eventually. Haha!
