On the Canvas #3

I think it all began when I was with my cousin watching the Tia & Tamara Mowry reality TV show. I saw that Tia (?) not sure which one is which because they're twins lol but anyway, she was getting married and I wanted to know who was her photographer. 
Yes I done my research, it was a man named Jose Villa who is a 'Fine Art' Wedding Photographer. Now when I read this I was like - what is a fine art photographer? But really, he just spices up a photo. He does more than take a simple photo. He creates it. 

                   "My approach applies fine art photography to the living, breathing, fast-moving phenomenon that is a wedding. For me, it is all about making something beautiful, even if I have to insert myself into the situation . Ultimately, my goal is to craft vibrant, energetic, fine art images that are as unique as the people in the photographs."

H&M Modern Casual Lookbook

Just stumbled across the men's collection from H&M - apparently they have a 'casual' lookbook. Thought that was the idea of a lookbook was to take photos in a non professional environment.... Never mind. I like this shoot. 

These photos are larger than the rest of my posts lol but I needed to show you all these models swagger! 

Pull & Bear Autumn/Winter

I have had this collection sitting on my laptop screaming to be posted! But what happened? I forgot? Precisely. So once again, I apologise.

This is Pull & Bear's collection for the autumn/winter for this year. I never heard of this shop until Westfield in Stratford opened. My friend seemed to know this shop so I followed him in and I was like wow! I wouldn't mind wearing some of the men's clothes lol! 

So this is a glimpse of the store. The colour ones are the clothes I saw in store but hey! The black and white photos might just have been in another store - or I can't remember them haha.

I think it was about a week ago when I was having a browse around Next. I wanted some formal attire. On the hanger some of them looked really nice (like the black fitted one with the outlined beige collars) and some of them I just HAD to try on (like the dress I've done a close up shot with). Now that dress was LONG! I know that now days, we're going through every fashion era at once (20th century style as well as the 21st century) but really - some things just aren't supposed to be done...

Topman Autumn Collection 2011

 

Personally, I do not think this collection reflects Topman at all. When I went in there a few weeks ago, there were some fantastic oversized cardigans and other clothes but I can't really remember. Anyways, Topman's lookbook collection for 2011

 

 

 

 

Karl Lagerfeld Menswear Autumn 2011/2012

This collection is for my friend. He's changing his style to the more formal approach and after seeing this collection, I think it would suit him. I quite like this collection by Karl Lagerfeld - a German fashion designer, artist and photographer. 

So to my friend Jonny and all the other guys who are on the look out for that sophisticated look - this one is for you :D
